When the surviving Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals, and Predators join the scene, Megatron ends up turning on Galvatron but doesn't see Nemesis attacking him from behind. is why killing Unicron is the only way he can get a better future. The two minions of Unicron then explain that in their Timeline, the Allspark had disappeared, forcing them to alter the time for the Allspark to return to Cybertron, Nemesis adding that Optimus' quest to restore Cybertron will not change anything in his Timeline and that. Galvatron joins the scene with Megatron and shoots Optimus to allow Nemesis to stand up. Nemesis is subsequently knocked down and held at bay by Optimus who believes his temporal double is trying to cheat him. Now he and Galvatron want to destroy their master but their only way to do that is with the Allspark. Still outclassed, Optimus questions Nemesis if it was Megatron who did this to him but Nemesis only replies that Megatron was as weak as Optimus until they died to be better reborn under Unicron's control. Optimus claims to no longer have it but Nemesis does not believe him and continues the assault. Nemesis quickly takes over and demands the Allspark. Bumblebee then tries to escape through an underground crevasse, only so that Nemesis does not try to shoot him down but Optimus intervenes, thus engaging in combat with his evil counterpart. The two Autobots also understand that if Nemesis is Optimus, then he won't give up. Bumblebee is at first confused until Optimus explains to him that Nemesis is the result of his bad choices. After the two factions travelled back to prehistoric Earth, they both initially believed Optimus to be Nemesis, as did the AllSpark.Īfter arriving on the Cybertron of the past, Nemesis quickly confronts Optimus and Bumblebee at the temple of the Allspark, determined to take the Allspark from them. After the Autobots and Decepticons died out, Nemesis and Galvatron, as Unicron's Heralds fought against their descendants, the Maximals and Predacons. That wasn't the end of Optimus, however, as Unicron then brings him back to life in the form and name of Nemesis Prime but completely devoid of what once made him Optimus. In his quest to bring the Allspark back to Cybertron, Optimus Prime ended up being killed by Megatron and the Allspark ended up disappearing.
